MVP Awards
A MVP Award for each match will be provided to umpires for presentation at the end of each match. This will be done to reduce the length of the Awards Ceremony on Thursday after play, thus enabling teams to depart earlier.
The official umpire shall confer with team coaches but ultimately it will be the umpire’s decision, and should take into account the player’s performance, his contribution to the team, and the spirit in which the player has played the game.
We are delighted to again have some outstanding MVP prizes courtesy of Skyline Gondola and Luge, K Jet, AJ Hackett Bungy, Go Orange – white water rafting, Canyon Swing, Speights Ale House and Inspire Golf (Frankton Golf Driving Range).
Weather
The forecast is good, and we are expecting a full week of cricket. However in the event of inclement weather the Playing Conditions set out what will happen if the weather causes delays or disruption.
Also, if play is in doubt please keep a close eye on the Carnival Facebook page for updates.
